Making connections on campus
For some students, college is a social time. For others, it’s so busy that it can be difficult to find the time to make connections with people in their courses. This may be more true for online students, commuters, and transfer students. But it can be helpful to remember that the people in your courses may share your interests and are going through the same academic experience as you. Most people want to meet others and everyone can benefit from exploring the course content with some else.
So if you haven’t done so lately, consider making a goal to meet one new person in each of your courses. At least some of these connections may become study partners, friends, or professional connections down the line.
